Hezekiah inherits a spiritual wasteland. The temple is closed. Idolatry is normalized. The nation is fractured. Instead of blaming the past, he calls the people back to remember who God is. Reform begins. Worship is restored. And immediately, Assyria attacks. Renewal does not eliminate opposition. But it clarifies where trust belongs.
