Mission & Vision

Jesus said, “Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest” (Matthew 11:28). In another place He said, “It is not the healthy who need a doctor but the sick” (Matthew 9:12). Gateway Church is a hospital for those looking for holistic healing. As a hospital, we do not expect people to “get well” before they engage the church any more than a hospital would only welcome those already cured. The hope and the expectation is that people will engage Gateway in a manner where they can be open and honest with their questions, doubts, hurts, and struggles.
No matter your location on the spiritual path, come and join us.  (But get ready to move from that spot) We all need to grow and move closer to God and Gateway wants to help!

Scripture says the church is a body made up of diverse parts, connected and working together to serve Christ and build each other up in love. Each of us have unique spiritual gifts, passions, and past experiences that God’s Spirit wants to guide us to use to show the world what God is like. No one of us can do this alone, it takes all of us, willing to use our gifts to serve Christ in a unified way together.

Come As You Are, great! Live connected by growing in community with other like minded Christ followers, got it! Then what? We believe when you do these first two steps, what happens naturally is that God's Spirit transforms your life to being more like Jesus; his actions, thoughts and reasons. You grow in spiritual maturity and begin to lead others along the path toward God!

We are an action community, not content to sit and wait for others to find us. The Change Your World value drives us to reach outside the walls of our buildings and groups; searching and looking for people we can invite to join us on the path we are traveling...to God.
